Forté has spent four decades building relationships with growers and mills across the world. Oak from France, Germany, Croatia and the USA. Ash from Europe. Walnut from the USA. Milled by long-standing partners in Belgium, Vietnam, Thailand, Lithuania and Holland.
That network, and the buying power behind it, is what makes Legacy possible. When a project calls for a board that doesn't exist, we can go to the source and have it made.
Legacy is a limited service. We take on a small number of commissions each year, for architect-led projects of 100m² or more with a supply budget over $200/m² + GST. That focus is what keeps the standard high.
